Photovoltaic cells generate valuable electricity from sunlight. Thanks to 2Power technology, they can now also supply heat for bath or shower water and provide a backup for your heating. A photovoltaic module can reach up to 80 ° C in the summer. It is easy to see that this energy can be used for heating bath or shower water. Our creative developers have succeeded in designing a very high capacity absorber that draws heat from the entire photovoltaic module and supplies it to the hot water supply. The heat transfer takes place with a cooling fluid that flows along the back of the module and, during this process, transports the thermal energy to your hot water tank. A sturdy solar pump ensures that the coolant circulates continuously without any problem between the module and the hot water tank in your basement.

EFFICIENCY

The usual commercial photovoltaic cells have a big disadvantage: their efficiency is about. 16% at a cell temperature of 25 ° C (* for STC - standard test conditions). With every degree that the outside temperature rises, the capacity of your system decreases because heat reduces efficiency.

In summer, photovoltaic modules on the roof can reach 80 ° C! With our smart control system, our 2Power cooling system can always deliver the best efficiency! Our 2Power modules work according to the sandwich principle. As with vehicle cooling, a water-based antifreeze is passed through the modularly structured system. The modules are cooled and the absorbed surface heat can be used for your heating system. With the latest technology, our modules are just as unobtrusive and flat as conventional cells.

The 2Power module does not look any different from the standard black PV module that we call 1Power. In this way, the 2Power modules can be combined with normal modules without visual interference. The result is a roof surface that looks uniform and harmonious.

GENERATE MORE ENERGY WITH COOLING

The removal of the heat lowers the temperature of the photovoltaic cells. This has a welcome effect: it ensures even higher energy yields because cooler modules are more efficient than hot ones. With every increase in operating temperature, the performance of a conventional PV module decreases. This means that the cooling of the module pays twice: you get heated water and at the same time you increase the electrical yields of your solar energy system.

SNOW FREE WINTERS

Each 2Power system comes with a deaf function as a unique extra.
